Preparatory work
Make sure the volume and size of the urine bag are appropriate for your child's needs. Prepare the necessary tools, such as urine bag, tape, scissors, etc. Clean the outside of the urine bag and make sure it is dry.
Connecting urine bag
Unseal the urine bag and attach it to the child's urethra. Make sure the urine bag is tightly connected to avoid leakage. If you are using a urine bag with a collection bottle, turn the collection bottle upside down and connect it to the urine bag.
Fixed urine bag
Use tape to secure the urine bag to your child's leg or body. Make sure the urine bag is properly positioned to avoid pressing your child's body. If needed, a protective pad can be placed under the urine bag to prevent leaking urine from staining clothing.
Use a urine bag
Allow your child to use the urine bag normally without restricting their activities. Check the urine bag regularly to make sure it is working properly. If you experience a problem, such as leaking urine or a ruptured urine bag, contact a doctor or nurse immediately.
